||With the season for striped bass about to open,4-15, the boats are being readied to be dropped in the water. With the mild winter we had everything looks to be an early season. Bass that usually migrate in the winter to the south stayed here because of the abundance of bait and warm water. The bunker are here already and we've been catching bass all year. Call no for and book your date for a funfilled day on the water.
||Well another season is upon us. It looks to be a great spring as there is already bait in the back with some bass under them. Flounders are there but you have to find them. Looking forward to seeing you this season. Capt. Layne

||This past Memorial Day weekend was tough going. The weather did not really cooporate. Sat. the wind blew out of the east at 30to35 all day. Sunday, in the afternoon the wind picked up again and then the lightning and a little rain. Clients on sat. had a great time though. They never fished before and caught 2 keeper fluke and tons of shorts. Sunday only one keeper fluke before the weather closed in. The weather looks good for this weekend, so let's go fishing. On 6/23 at 7pm I'm giving a seminar at island parks West Marine on fluke and weakfish tactics. Bait and artifical bait techniques. Stop on down, it's free. Tight lines to all.
